TV-star’s husband makes deal in eight-year battle over jet – The Age
A multimillion-dollar legal battle waged by Andrew Norbury, husband of Lydia Schiavello, against the makers of his jet has ended after they reached a settlement.
Mr Norbury has an estimated net worth of $50 million and has been briefly captured in the popular reality television show Real Housewives of Melbourne, in which his wife Lydia Schiavello features, although he usually eschews the spotlight.
The eleventh-hour settlement came before he had to take the stand but after lawyers for Textron Aviation, who sold him the jet, had accused Mr Norbury of making mistakes on the day of the flight.
