GastonActor Luke Evans has offered an update on how the live-action “Beauty and the Beast” spin-off TV series for Disney+ is progressing. A prequel, the show will follow his character Gaston and his man-servant and friend LeFou (Josh Gad).
Evans says “we’re in fully fledged development. The second and third episodes have been written and weve heard some of the music by Alan Menken.” He also says Josh Gad came up with the show’s central idea and, after they fleshed it out, pitched it to Disney.
