Luck was a lady on Friday night. Skies that had rained havoc all week allowed the western glow to blush behind the silhouetted Opera House, itself reduced to purely decorative function; winds that had torn up trees wafted and caressed; and an opera company that had lost a years revenue was given a pleasant space to spread its wares.
