TripAdvisor has issued a warning on a resort’s listing after a man was sued for leaving a bad review.
Tripadvisor has slapped a warning on a resort’s listing, after it launched legal action against a man over a negative review, which briefly landed him in prison.
In July, American Wesley Barnes left a review on Trip Advisor for the Sea View Hotel and Spa on Koh Chang island, saying he encountered unfriendly staff and accused the hotel of modern day slavery, following a dispute over a corkage fee.
The resort later sued Barnes and he spent two days in police custody after being arrested and charged…
