Traveller involved in Brisbane airport breach tests positive for COVID-19
A traveller involved a green zone breach at Brisbane international airport after arriving from Papua New Guinea has tested positive for COVID-19.
The person was one of two travellers involved in the breach by proceeding through screening to transit as per normal process despite arriving on a ‘red’ flight from Port Moresby on Monday morning.
They returned a positive test overnight on Friday, while other traveller has tested negative.
