Traffic alert as M1 lanes closed in both directions

Police were called to an exit 35 of the M1 in Beenleigh about 11.15am.Multiple lanes have been closed in both directions with traffic slow moving in the area. Police have advised motorists to avoid the area and expect delays.As of 12pm there were 10-minute delays in both directions. A police spokeswoman said there is no risk to the public.
