Trade-target ruck Draper to debut for Essendon – The Age
Essendon will unveil young ruckman Sam Draper for his debut game against the Brisbane Lions on Friday.

Born in South Australia but living in the small English town of Brede in East Sussex for six years, Draper was a goalkeeper and a centre-back as a soccer player.
However, during pre-season for the 2016 footy season in SA his brother convinced him to play local footy with him and his mates for the first time.
By December that year Draper was selected at pick no.1 by Essendon in the rookie draft.
