Townsville murder investigation deepens as it’s revealed young boy walked up and down Fulham Road for help

A five-year-old boy who woke up to find his parents dead walked for hundreds of metres, up and down the road, calling for help.

The grim discovery of the bodies of the 46-year-old woman and 48-year-old man was made at a home in Townsville on Tuesday morning.

Homicide detectives spent hours at the scene and are not looking for any outstanding suspects.

The tragedy is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
