Tourist dies in Fraser Island rollover as police probe hinterland fatal – Brisbane Times
Police say a 4WD carrying four tourists was travelling along a beach at low tide when it rolled. It comes after a crash on the Gold Coast claimed four young lives.
The driver was pronounced dead and a back-seat passenger in his 20s was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with “significant injuries”.
The two remaining passengers were flown to Hervey Bay Hospital.
