Tour guide says people routinely climb fence at Boroka Lookout in Grampians National Park

A short time before a woman fell to her death from a scenic lookout in the Grampians National Park on Saturday, a tour guide expressed concern someone could be killed because tourists routinely climbed over the fence.

The 38-year-old woman from Craigieburn, in Melbourne’s outer north, fell 80 metres after slipping on a safety barrier.

Police are preparing a report for the coroner and a media spokesperson has described the death as a “tragic accident”.
