High profile racehorse trainer Kim Waugh will fight to clear her name on an animal cruelty charge after Racing NSW alleged she failed to prevent the use of illegal spurs on one of her racehorses.
Waugh, the wife of former Australian cricketer Mark Waugh, has been issued with three charges, including one for failing to exercise reasonable care and/or supervision to the racehorse Tarsus to prevent an act of cruelty in March this year.
