The bold move by the Blue Oval brand to switch to hybrid by 2026 and pure electric by 2030 means the current Fiesta ST and Focus ST could be Fords last analogue hot hatches.
Hot hatch fans likely have only a few years to enjoy the last “analogue” versions of the Ford Fiesta ST and Ford Focus ST.
Both models are expected to be the last of their breed amid a bold plan by Ford Europe to switch to hybrid or electric power by 2026 – and pure electric power for all models by 2030 – announced last week.
