Today we are celebrating World Photo Day and featuring photos taken by one of our Marine Unit officers on patrol in the north-west Australia gas fields.
Officer Ben is a crew member on the Australian Defence Vessel (ADV) Ocean Protector and is very handy with a camera. Officer Ben’s photos showcase the important work of the Australian Border Force in safeguarding the security of our maritime borders. ADV Ocean Protector forms part of an enhanced fleet of vessels and operates in the waters off north-western Australia targeting illegal activity including, prohibited imports and exports, people smuggling, and illegal fishing – while maintaining a secure working environment for our natural resources sector. #WorldPhotoDay Click here to view the original post.
