“There have been lots of great summer skies lately,” says Times reader David Dudeck. “This also applies to the night skies (like) this interesting photo of the moon setting Sunday night. After enjoying its descent on a warm evening, it started to disappear behind the ridge across the Columbia River from my Trail home,” Dudeck said.
“The setting moon really was a special sight and with a good camera and lots of luck, sometimes it all works out!”
