Tina Turner is farewelling her fans in a new documentary that recounts her story of trauma and rebirth.
The feature-length film titled Tina follows Turner as she enters a final chapter that will see her move away from the limelight. Watch the trailer above.
“It wasn’t a good life. The good did not balance the bad,” Turner said in the film, per The Sun. “I had an abusive life, there’s no other way to tell the story. It’s a reality. It’s the truth. That’s what you’ve got, so you have to accept it.”
