There’s a sponsorship stand-off brewing, and it could threaten to derail Tim Tszyu’s clash with Dennis Hogan.
Hogan wants to have his betting sponsor, PointsBet, represented on his fight shorts but Tszyu’s camp, No Limit Boxing, isn’t having a bar as it directly clashes with their partner Sportsbet.
It all came to a head at Monday’s press conference when Hogan was told by No Limit’s Matt Rose to remove a PointsBet T-shirt. And the Irishman was still fuming about it at Tuesday’s weigh-in.
