Its the food hack the world is talking about right now, promising to keep cut avocados fresher for longer.
Shared on TikTok, the new trick has gone viral because its so simple and so easy.

While weve heard many different and complicated hacks for keeping the often expensive fruit fresh, this one is the easiest by far.
Simply place the cut avocado – cut side down – in a container or bowl with enough water to submerge the flesh.
User @kmag1 says the easy hack will stop your avocado from going brown, keeping it fresh for when you next want to use it.

Many social media users were wary of the hack, concerned it would make the avocado mushy and water-logged.
But when put to the test by NBCs Jenna Bush Hager, she was pleasantly surprised.
