Three rushed to hospital after Gold Coast crash

Three people have been rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the Gold Coast.

Emergency services were called just before 10.30am after the accident on Smith Street in Parkwood on Thursday.
Three people were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition and with no serious injuries.
Police closed the road for about half an hour before reopening the area to traffic.

Images of the crash scene show a sign to Labrador was bent almost in half, and one vehicle had landed on its side.
One car had its front windscreen shattered and the roof on the driver’s side was crushed.
