Three people have been arrested over a string of car wash robberies. Police allege the trio broke into car wash facilities from Noosa, Maroochydore and Caloundra and stole cash and broke equipment.

“They were targeting machines that obviously took cash – coins in particualr. A number of those gold coins do start to add up to several thousands of dollars.” – Senior Sergeant Daren Edwards.
