Three people charged over alleged highway robbery of tourist near Cardwell

Police are investigating reports a German tourist was robbed at gunpoint at a highway rest stop in Far North Queensland.

It is alleged three people confronted the 18-year-old man at a rest stop on the Bruce Highway, at Cardwell, late yesterday.
