Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the results were “encouraging” and the fact there was no unlinked community cases was a good sign.
The state’s hospitals have seen a rapid ramp up in cases, treating 71 COVID-19 patients compared with just five last month.
Queensland has two distinct clusters which were unknowingly spread by a Princess Alexandra Hospital nurse and doctor.
Eight local cases were confirmed on Tuesday and four on Monday.
