Three Norwegian health workers have been hospitalised for blood clots after receiving the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine.

Three health workers in Norway who recently received the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine are being treated in hospital for blood clots and bleeding, Norwegian health authorities say.
Norway halted the rollout of that vaccine on Thursday over safety concerns, following a similar move by Denmark. Iceland later followed suit.
“We do not know if the cases are linked to the vaccine,” Sigurd Hortemo, a senior doctor at the Norwegian Medicines Agency, told a news conference on Saturday.
