Thomas heads for surgery – North Melbourne Football Club

North Melbourne has opted to send Tarryn Thomas in for season-ending surgery on his injured left foot.
The 2019 rising star hobbled from the ground while playing Essendon at Metricon Oval in Round 6, after his leg was pinned underneath an opposition player in a tackle.
After treatment in the rooms for a syndesmosis injury, Thomas returned to the field and played out the game knowing no further damage could be done.
