This week’s #ThrowbackThursday takes us back to the origins of the Queensland Ambulance to acknowledge one of our founders, Eustace Jack.
Mr Eustace Morrison Jack was born in Bristol (Somerset, United Kingdom)
in 1870. He later moved to Australia and settled in Brisbane, Queensland. In 1892 at just 22 years old, Eustace Jack was one of a group of voluntary military medics who supported Seymour Warrian’s proposal to commence a civil ambulance service in Brisbane and was a foundation member…
