‘This isn’t funny any more’: Fans turn on Broncos as cops clear players over pub lunch – Fox Sports
Furious fans have thrown jerseys on the front steps at Red Hill and yelled at staff as it emerged Queensland Police cleared Broncos players of breaching COVID-19 protocols.
Up to 10 players, including Tevita Pangai Jr, David Fifita and Corey Oates, were cleared of having to self-isolate after an investigation into a pub lunch they attended in Brisbane on August 1.
However the NRL is still considering options and potential sanctions.
