Christmas Day in the British royal household was always going to be an occasion heavy on tradition. But even we’re surprised by the strict rules and regulations placed on the monarchy when it comes to the big day. It’s certainly not an occasion to overdo the mimosas and pavlova, but rather for them its a two-day stretch of downright duty.
