This guy modded a GeForce RTX 3090 to work on M.2 slot in a laptop – TweakTown
If you seriously don’t want to use your Thunderbolt-based GPU dock, then I guess you could mod your RTX 3090 and use the M.2 slot?
I can safely say I’ve never seen this before.
A modified NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card has been tweaked to work from a laptop and its NVMe M.2 slot, from an AMD Ryzen 4600U-powered Kosin Air 14 laptop.
