There has been mixed reaction to Greater Western Sydney’s decision to drop captain Stephen Coniglio ahead of the side’s crunch clash with Melbourne.

As revealed by foxfooty.com.au on Friday morning, the Giants omitted the 26-year-old even though he had plenty of the ball in his sides shock Round 16 loss to Adelaide.
Speaking on Fox Footy, North Melbourne premiership player David King said the decision was a watershed moment for the club, particularly coach Leon Cameron.
