They’re ace: Australian Open serves up a record number of ball kids – The Age
It’s ‘crazy and surreal’ seeing top tennis players up close, says Maddie Higgins, who with sister Lucy will be a 2021 Australian Open ball kid.
The players will laugh with you and the other ball kids will have a laugh afterwards, she said.
This year, Maddies sister, Lucy, 12, will be a first-time ball kid. Watching Maddie do it, it looked like fun, Lucy said. Im kind of nervous but Im really excited, too.
