“They are a monster chance to finish in the final eight”: Dermott Brereton – SEN
“I think they are very capable to make the finals.”

Dermott Brereton says St Kilda are a monster chance to make the finals if they win their next two games against Fremantle and Adelaide.
The Saints play the Dockers on neutral territory at Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium on Saturday before taking on the lowly Crows at Adelaide Oval the following week.
Sitting at 3-2 and coming off eye-catching wins over reigning premiers Richmond and Carlton, the next fortnight presents a big opportunity for St Kilda to further entrench themselves in the top eight.
They are a monster chance to finish in the final eight, Hawthorn great Brereton said on SEN Drive.
You would think all things being equal they knock over the Fremantle Dockers given the way the two teams have been playing historically this season.
You would think that they knock over the Adelaide Crows the week after that gives them five wins.
You only need to win nine Id say so in two weeks’ time they are probably four wins away.
Do I buy into the hype that they are seriously good? I dont know if they are seriously good, I think they are very capable to make the finals.
If you add two more wins to St Kilda right now, yeah, they are serious contenders to make the finals.
Australian Football Hall of Famer Terry Wallace likes the mix of youth and experience within St Kildas ranks on the back of last years fruitful trade period.
They brought in senior players to the football club, so they are not running around with all kids playing at the moment,” Wallace told SEN’s The Match Committee.
“Theyve got a nice blend and a nice balance between the seniority and the youth. I like what they are doing and I think that they are good enough to back it up (against Fremantle).”
St Kilda last played finals in 2011 but look to be on the way up under coach Brett Ratten.
