‘These are my personal views’: Staffer defends Eels after NRL boss contacts club – Sydney Morning Herald
Tahleya Eggers has spoken out in defence of the Eels, saying the club did not force her to take down a social media post which criticised the Prime Minister.

I want to make clear that I have had nothing but support from the club over this period. At no stage has anyone asked me to remove or change my post.

It was my decision to remove it and place my social media on private because of the level of attention I was receiving.
On Saturday, the Eels official Twitter page uploaded a photo of the Prime Minister in the sheds and wrote: Hes ours now @Cronulla_Sharks.
The Eels said there was no discussion…
