‘There’s something missing in his life’: Ratten’s touching message as Saints star granted personal leave

St Kilda coach Brett Ratten has thrown his support behind veteran ruckman Paddy Ryder after the 32-year-old was granted personal leave to spent time with family and elders in his community.
The Saints will now be without their two premier ruck options for Round 1s clash against GWS, with Rowan Marshall working his way back from a hotspot in his foot.
