It’s now been confirmed that the Xbox Series S won’t support Xbox One X enhancements when playing Xbox One games, but will instead load the Xbox One S version of the game and then apply its own enhancements.
This was first reported by Digital Foundry who noted that it was unlikely that the Xbox Series S would be able to support Xbox One X enhancements due to the fact that it has less memory than the Xbox One X.
