‘The world will miss him’: Adventurous photographer put focus on family – The Age

York boy Anthony Taylor was in his early 20s when he missed his train home from Leeds one evening after night school.
So he took himself to a dance.
It was here that the avid photographer and compositor, whose job was to insert the letters into frames used to print the Yorkshire Evening Press, met Jean, a telephonist and librarian for the Yorkshire Evening News.
