The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Drones took to the skies over Mooloolaba Beach today as part of a training course to up-skill Drone Pilots.
Over the next few days, Pilots across the Sunshine Coast who currently operate sub-2kg drones will be up-skilled to fly sub-7kg drones. This additional training will further boost the level of protection offered during patrols.
P.s – The first image is our Matric 600 drone! To operate this 10kg monster drone Pilots must achieve a remote pilots licence with a Sub 25kg multi rotor endorsement! ???? #thisislifesaving
