The West Coast Eagles’ big AFL finals advantage that’s reportedly left rival clubs ‘uncomfortable’ – Fox Sports
Veteran footy writer Caroline Wilson believes a likely elimination finals advantage for West Coast will be “incredibly tough” on its direct opponent, reporting that some clubs are “a bit uncomfortable” Adam Simpson’s men will be able to ‘home quarantine’.
The Eagles later this week will fly back to Perth after playing their last match for the home and away season against North Melbourne at Metricon Stadium on Thursday night.
While the Eagles can keep their top-four hopes alive with a win over North, it appears doubtful theyll earn the double chance, unless Adelaide or Sydney can produce a stunning upset victory over third-placed Richmond or fourth-placed Geelong respectively.
