A frothy pink dress covered in sparkly strawberries has seized the attention of social media users and celebrities alike. But this should have happened back in January.

Her post raises an important question: why was the dress of the summer, as its now been dubbed in America, on worst dressed lists mere months ago? And if any of the countless other celebrities who have been photoshopped into it in the past two months had worn it on that red carpet in January, would they also have ended up in the same spot?
