The weekly rate of new cases of Covid-19 in the UK has risen above 20 per 100,000 people

Birmingham now has fifth highest rate of Covid-19 cases in England with 712 cases (60.3 per 100,000 people) in the city with the threat of a lockdown looming.
191 positive tests were recorded on Friday alone.
Birmingham is behind only Bolton, which has 326 cases with a rate of 121, and Bradford, which has 355 cases at a rate of 70.6 per 100k.
Blackburn with Darwen is fourth, with Oldham fifth. Solihull is also now included in the top 20 for the UK, with a rate of 46.
