The Switch welcomes its first games in the cloud
The Nintendo console welcomes its first cloud only games, requiring a permanent connection to function.
Nintendo is walking on Sonys borders by offering its first games in the cloud. Now, you no longer need to download a game to be able to play it on Switch, some titles can be played in streaming.
Nintendo had already tested this technology in Japan with Resident Evil VII. At the time, the player only had to download a small 45 MB file, which allowed the game to be launched from Capcoms servers….
