The special Murphy link to Coulthard milestone – Supercars.com
The Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint saw Fabian Coulthard overtake compatriot Greg Murphy to become the most-experienced Kiwi on the grid.
Saturdays Race 3 was Coulthards 443rd championship race start, taking him past four-time Bathurst winner Murphys 442.
It brought Coulthard full circle, who before he became a full-time Supercars driver, raced for Murphy himself.
Coulthard ran under the Greg Murphy Racing banner in Porsche Carrera Cup competition, and won the title in 2005.
