Sony has launched the Xperia PRO, the smartphone that it unveiled alongside the Xperia 1 II almost a year ago. The publication of firmware for the Xperia PRO suggested that its official launch was close, but Sony is still yet to confirm when the device will be purchasable.
However, Sony has now confirmed that Sony will charge US$2,499.99 for the Xperia PRO, or over double the launch price of the Xperia 1 II. According to The Verge, Sony ‘currently has no plans’ to sell the Xperia PRO in Europe….
