The effervescent and subtly flavoured alcoholic sparkling water has arrived in Australia – but not without a few concerns.
It was in the summer of 2019, on a trip to my old home in upstate New York, that I first discovered hard seltzer. Whats that, you ask? Well, in American drinks culture, the word hard connotes alcoholic (a hard cider, for instance, is one with booze, as opposed to something like Appletiser); seltzer is their word for sparkling water.
