Roughly half of the UKs adult population has now received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The jab is currently being offered to all over-50s the final group of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisations (JCVI) top nine priority groups.
Like all medicines, the Covid vaccine can cause side-effects. Most of these are mild and short-term, and not everyone gets them.
