The Rubik’s Cube is landing on the big screen with its own shared universe.
A feature film revolving around the popular puzzle is in the works, Variety has announced, with an accompanying game show based on the best-selling toy also coming.
Details on the film are still sparse, but it seems to ride the hype around brainy and classic games that has seen chess experience a surge in popularity since the release on Netflix of The Queen’s Gambit.
