Examining the brain of extinct organisms illuminates their behavior. However, soft tissues like the brain usually dont last long. Therefore, researchers are reconstructing the brains of dinosaurs by analyzing the cranial cavities using computed tomography. It requires well-preserved brain envelopes that encase the brain tissue. So far, no complete and well-preserved neurocranias from the worlds oldest dinosaurs have been found.
