‘The relationship broke down’: Anthony Griffin responds to Phil Gould’s claims of forced sacking – Fox Sports
New Dragons coach Anthony Griffin has opened up on the breakdown of his relationship with Phil Gould that led to his sacking from the Panthers.
Griffin was shown the door by Gould at the Panthers in 2018 when the Penrith were running fourth and the pair no longer speak.
Phil Gould came out and said he was forced to sack Griffin and that it wasnt his choice and that he could still work with him, but it was taken out of his hands.
