When a British royal gets married it is tradition that they will borrow a tiara from Queen Elizabeth’s royal collection.
Most recently we saw Princess Beatrice at her recent wedding choosing to wear the Fringe tiara from the Queen’s own collection, which had been passed down to her from Queen Mary.
Meghan chose Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara from the collection.
And the Duchess of Cambridge wore the Cartier Halo tiara belonging to the Queen.
