The Queensland government has ordered a review into the bushfire burning on Fraser Island.
The inquiry will see the Inspector-General of Emergency Management “examine all aspects of preparedness and response”
of the blaze that started more than a month ago from an illegal campfire.“It’s understandable for those who love the island want to be assured that everything that could be done to protect it has and is being done.” – Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk MP.
