The Pawsome Foursome drop in for a pat and a chat.
Australian Federal Police engagement dogs, Steve and Barry, along with their handlers, Jo and Emily, were a welcome distraction from the day-to-day routine at ABF HQ last week.
The visit was part of the AFP’s outreach program aimed at supporting staff, boosting morale, and generally making us feel happier and healthier.
Many of the Labrador Retrievers used by law enforcement and government agencies are acquired through the ABF’s Detector Dog Program and deployed in a variety of fields including the detection of food, narcotics, explosives and firearms.
