The Oscars were long, serious and dull but the worst moment was Chadwick Boseman’s snub

It will go down in history as the worst Oscar ending since La La Land — I mean Moonlight — won the Academy Award for best film.
Everyone thought the very long (and dull) night would finish with a posthumous nod to Chadwick Boseman, whose death from colon cancer in August 2020 came as a great shock to the world.
Instead the Oscar for Best Actor was given to Anthony Hopkins, who did not accept the award in-person, for his dramatic performance as man with dementia in The Father.
